The main objective of this scheme and successive programs is to promote development of micro and small enterprises in the country with the objective of creating self employment opportunities and upgrading the relevant skills of existing and potential entrepreneurs

• Industrial Motivation Campaigns (IMCs)
• Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (EDPs)
• Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme (ESDPs)
• Management Development Programmes (MDPs)
• Vocation and Educational Training

Funding is provided for conducting courses, lecturer fees and providing stipend to the participants. The guest faculty is provided honorarium for delivering the lecture / demonstration of Rs.500/- for the session of one and half hrs. for EDP/ESDP and IMC and Rs.700/- for MDP.
20 % of the total targeted EDP/ESDPs is conducted exclusively for weaker sections of the society i.e. (SC/ST/women and PH) with a stipend of Rs.125/- per week per candidate
Maximum expenditure for 1 day IMC-Rs 8000
Maximum expenditure for 2 weeks EDP-Rs 20000
Maximum expenditure for 6 weeks ESDPs-Rs 60000
Maximum expenditure for 1 weeks MDP-Rs 20000
